In 1993, the operation was expanded to include GSR Law Enforcement Supply and Firearms. In 1995, Joe became the Technical Manager to Armes de Chasse. He also completed his apprentice gunmaker training during that time. In 1998, Manetto Hill Kennels was closed due to relocation, but Selective Sportsman was formed. Selective Sportsman became a family run business that specialized in high quality shotguns for hunters and clay target competitors. When Armes de Chasse retired in 2002, Selective Sportsman was sold to one of the partners and Toni used her 15 years experience in the Travel Tours industry to evolve the former business into a new company, T. Riekers Sporting Agency (TAR); with two new brand names, J. Riekers - Gunmakers and Brandon Brand-Justin Case. Nearly two decades in the sporting and firearms business combined with over a decade in the travel tours industry created friendships and alliances that benefit our customers today with exclusive hunting properties and opportunities worldwide. Fine shotgun repair, restoration, fitting and production are still available.
